I previously left a reviewing having worn the 2023 version of these short (navy blue) for approximately 2,700 miles along the Pacific Crest Trail. As in...I wore them every single day, all day, for 4 months. I loved them (size S) and how they fit curves and petite people, with the hem being slightly shorter in the front and longer in the back. Fast forward to 2025 version (black) and wearing them for half of the entire Continental Divide Trail (about 3 months daily) and they're way different. They're now very short in the back vs. longer, and shorter in the front. The waist is also smaller, and I am 5'1 125 pounds size small. I also lost weight hiking daily and they still felt small. Older version was better so I will not be repurchasing these again, sadly. Janji makes really good quality women's shorts and clothes, so I'll be sticking with them as a brand.
