Flaming hot garbage
I own an iteration of these shorts, ordered in Jan 2023, and they absolutely slap. The fabric is more substantial, soft, and flexy with a well thought out drape and I wear them weekly. When I pulled these new ones out of the package, my jaw literally dropped. I genuinely felt like I was being roasted or robbed by OV with this thin little rag. It fits small and tight, no drape, not cozy, not the same nice soft fabric at all. This is NOT the same product as my 2023 CloudKnit 3.5" short. Girl bye. I only awarded 2 stars because 2 star reviews are more likely to be taken seriously. I feel comfortable unsubscribing from the OV mailing list after receiving these shorts.

Not High Rise, Different Fit from Previous CloudKnit Shorts
I bought a pair of cloud knit shorts 2 to 3 years ago and adore them. Like another reviewer, I thought this was the same pair. But the rise on the new pair is about 9.5 inches, whereas the older pair was 13.5 in. This changes the fit a lot because the same waist band size is sitting several inches lower on the hips. It makes the shorts much smaller and not great if you're tall.

Disappointed
I had bought a cloud knit set some time ago with the same shorts so was excited when I saw new colors available. When my order arrived (in same size as before), I tried on the shorts only to notice that this version was 1. Unlined compared to previous and 2. Definitely smaller in fit. I was disappointed in the thinner feel to these shorts, especially knowing that their predecessor was more substantial in weight. Likely will try the next size up but find it unfortunate that these shorts have changed so much.

These shorts are greedy, don’t get me wrong. But I would only wear them around the house to lounge in. Thought they were going to be a bit more flowy but are really kinda thin around the thighs. I returned them because they were not what I wanted but if you’re looking for a lounge shirt these are great. I would size up cause they were a tad small.
